• User Content: The voice recordings and book cover images you upload.
• Shelf Data: Names or nicknames of recipients (e.g., "Timmy") and approximate age ranges (Year of Birth) for organization purposes.

B. Information Processed for Listeners (QR Code Scans)

When a QR code is scanned to listen to a book:

• We DO NOT collect names, ages, phone numbers, or email addresses from the listener.
• Technical Data: We automatically collect basic technical logs required to deliver the audio file, including IP address, browser type, and timestamp. This data is used solely for security, analytics, and ensuring the Service functions correctly.

C. Payment Information

We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe processes your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to:

• Provide and maintain the Service (hosting your audio).
• Process your transactions ("Packs" or "Slots").
• Authenticate your login.
• Send administrative emails (e.g., password resets, service updates).
• Monitor usage trends to improve the Service (using aggregated, non-identifiable data).

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The account creation features of our Service are intended for adults (parents/guardians) only. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts.

Regarding the "Listening" experience:

• Our playback interface ("Cinema Mode") is designed to be privacy-safe.
• We do not ask listeners to enter personal information before playing audio.
• We do not use cookies to build behavioral profiles of children.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us at legal@justread2.me, and we will delete it.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We trust a small group of third-party providers to help us operate. We only share data necessary for them to perform their function:

• AWS (Amazon Web Services): Used for secure file storage (hosting your recordings).
• Google Services: Used for user authentication and aggregated website analytics.
• Stripe: Used for payment processing.

5. Data Ownership & Retention

• Your Content: You own your voice recordings.
• Deletion: If you choose to delete a recording or your account, the associated audio files are permanently removed from our active servers.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and secure storage of audio files. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
